The Wise 1 Within program was one of 12 locally owned businesses in Franklin to receive a $2,500 Small Business Capacity Grant on August 29. "We are more than thrilled by the support from the Franklin community since we moved here. This grant will enable us to provide people with enriching and immersive experiences," said Beth Johnson, Arête Purpose partner and program facilitator. The firm, located at 48 West Madison Street in historic downtown Franklin, is developing Wisdom Work programs that integrate knowledge with experience to achieve an awareness of what's possible in a participant's life and career. The program includes: - Group workshops including art and writing classes and topical discussions. - Wisdom groups that meet regularly for discussions and support. - Online content designed to engage and educate. - Connection to our Arête Wisdom online community for networking, support and continuous learning. Johnson said the grant will be used toward securing technology for the online content and also to reduce fees for upcoming workshops. Johnson will host an immersive art experience ["Wisdom of the Nest"](https://aretepurpose.com/wisdom-of-the-nest?hsLang=en) on September 13 and 14 at Main & Madison Market Cafe. "We will be building a connected community that learns and grows with one another - both in Franklin and online," said Johnson, who is a long-time therapist, artist and author.
