Studio Stillness
Not a therapy group.
And it is not an art class.
There are times when we think we need something other than more information, more advice or one more thing to accomplish.
Studio Stillness is a small, once-a-month creative gathering for people who want to slow down, pay attention and rediscover a more grounded way of being with themselves.
Studio Stillness is a trauma-informed creative arts group using watercolor collage, journaling and gentle creative practices to cultivate presence, emotional regulation, self-trust and connection to self within an emotionally safe and welcoming environment.

Studio Stillness is about something different: stepping away from constant consumption and productivity long enough to notice what happens when we make something with our own hands. Each month, we will introduce a theme to reflect on and explore. We will experiment with different forms of expression and practice finding satisfaction in the process rather than the product. Our Guides
Not rules, but ritual. Not mastery, but curiosity. Not inspiration, but attention. Not speed, but rhythm. Not performance, but presence. Not certainty, but wonder. The Experience
Membership is $99 per month. You don't need to arrive inspired. You don't need to arrive certain. You don't even need to arrive feeling particularly creative.Just arrive.Bring your attention, your curiosity, and whatever version of yourself shows up that day.Why Studio Stillness
Even during — and after — seasons of disruption, change, loss, grief or discomfort, we can find our way back to wholeness, presence, meaning, connection and wisdom.
Wholeness does not mean that everything in our lives has been resolved.
Perhaps it means something quieter and more profound: increasing our capacity to hold the complexity of our lives without becoming fragmented by it.
Studio Stillness is an invitation to practice that by:
- Stop consuming for a little while.
- Regain your attention.
- Become curious again.
- Create without performing.
- Find ritual and rhythm.
- Sit in the company of others who are practicing the same things.
- And, perhaps most importantly, welcome all the parts of yourself back home.
